Refund & Return Policy

At Silhouette Bridal & Formal, every gown and accessory is chosen with care. Because of the custom and delicate nature of the formalwear industry, our return and exchange policies are very specific. Please review the following carefully before making your purchase.


IN-STORE PURCHASE POLICY

Bridal Gowns, Accessories, and Veils

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, exchanges, or issue store credit on bridal gowns, veils, or bridal accessories. This policy is standard across the bridal industry, as each gown is often ordered, tailored, or customized for the individual bride.

Non-Bridal Dresses (Prom, Pageant, Evening, and Special Occasion)

All sales are final. However, you may exchange an in-store non-bridal dress if it meets all of the following criteria:
- The item is unworn, unaltered, and undamaged.
- The original tags are still attached.
- The item is returned within 3 days of purchase.
- You present a valid receipt.

Qualifying items may be exchanged for store credit or another gown of equal or greater value.

Special Orders & Alterations

Special Orders: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on all special orders. Once an order has been placed with the designer, it cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged.

Alterations: All alterations are a separate service and are non-refundable once performed. Any alteration fees must be paid in full at the time of service.


ONLINE PURCHASE POLICY

Online Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind our quality and will provide a full refund only if we ship you the incorrect style, color, or size.

For all other online orders, we offer exchanges for online/store credit only. To be eligible for an exchange:
- You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. The three-day eligibility window begins on the exact date our shipping provider indicates the package was delivered to you.
- Items must be in perfect, unworn condition with the original tags attached and original packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse any item(s) that do not meet these requirements.
- All online exchanges are subject to a 15% Restocking Fee, and the customer is responsible for all associated shipping costs.
- If exchanging for a higher-priced item, you will be required to settle the balance. If exchanging for a lower-priced item, the difference will be issued as store credit.

Final Sale Items (Online)

The following online purchases are strictly FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Couture Gowns and Special Orders
- Bridesmaid collections
- All discounted items or sales using a promo code
- Jewelry and accessories
- All international orders
- Any item purchased using an existing store credit
- All exchanged merchandise (an item can only be exchanged once)

Website Delivery & Cancellations

Once you have placed an order through our website, the order cannot be canceled unless the requested item is no longer able to be delivered prior to your stated wear date.

If an ordered product is shipped and then refused by the customer at their delivery address, the order will incur an automatic 50% restocking fee in addition to the deduction of any applicable shipping charges incurred by Silhouette Bridal & Formal.


GENERAL POLICIES & STORE CREDIT

Shipping Fees

All shipping fees are non-refundable. For qualifying exchanges (non-bridal dresses only), the client is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Store Credit

Store credit, when issued, is valid for 12 months from the date of the original purchase. Store credit may be applied to any product or service at Silhouette Bridal & Formal.
